About
A small slab yard in the Upper Valley.
Trout Lumber is a new, independent business dealing in kiln‑dried live edge slabs and burls. We keep things simple: good wood, measured honestly, listed one piece at a time.
01
Selected by hand
Every slab and burl is chosen for its character, figure and usable size, then stickered and stacked with care.
02
Kiln‑dried
Our stock is kiln‑dried so it's ready for your project, whether that's a dining table, a counter or a bench.
03
Measured, every piece
Each listing shows length, top / middle / bottom widths, thickness and where it sits in the yard. No guessing.
04
Walk‑in or ship
Visit and choose your slab in person, or order online and we'll arrange freight shipping to the lower 48.
